In the ongoing Polaris Bank Save & Win promotion, the first group of 62 winners has been announced.
The 62 lucky winners, who were spread out among the six geopolitical zones, were announced by the Bank in a statement. The draw, which was held on Friday at the Bank’s headquarters in Lagos in honor of Nigeria’s 62nd Independence Anniversary, saw each winner receive N100,000.
The winners were chosen in a fair drawing that was observed by representatives of the Nigerian Advertising Regulatory Commission and the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) (ARCON).
A hybrid media platform was used for the draw, enabling on-site activities for over 400 clients via the Bank’s virtual network and social media accounts.
Mr. Nduneche Ezurike, Group Head of Strategic Brand Management at Polaris Bank, stated in a speech during the announcement of the winners that the occasion was noteworthy because it was evidence of the Bank’s constant dedication to improving and enhancing Nigerians’ lives.
According to Ezurike, the incentive is intended to motivate more people, both current and potential consumers, to save and reinvest their money.
“In tough times like this, there is a compelling need to save, not only to win a prize but also to plan for the rainy day,” he added.
He emphasized that clients may still enter or up their chances of winning by making a minimum deposit of N5,000 into their savings account. He added that anyone, including non-Bank customers, could enter the drawings for a chance to win by opening a Polaris Savings account with N2,000 and growing it to N5,000 before the next draw date.
The FCCPC’s Ms. Susie Onwuka, Doris Itegbe, and ARCON’s Bolajoko Odusoga attested to the draw’s being free, fair, and transparent.
The Bank was thanked by the representatives of the regulatory organizations for keeping its promise to the winners of the independence draws.
