On November 24, in the evening, the Travolution Awards will be held in London.
The awards ceremony for this year will take place in November, and Travolution is excited to announce that Mastercard will be the major sponsor.
The annual awards recognize the accomplishments, success, and innovation of technology and digital travel businesses throughout the preceding year in the travel industry.
In addition to the special individual awards for start-ups, emerging stars and rising brands, sustainability, and brand of the year, over 30 prizes will be given out this year in five main categories. The release of shortlists occurred in September.
Travolution is bringing back its consumer category in collaboration with the Ice Travel Group, owner of comparison websites icelolly.com and TravelSupermarket, and will also be announcing the winners of five categories chosen by vacationers.
The Travolution Achievement Award, granted to a senior professional in the field who is thought to have had a substantial influence during their career to date, will be revealed at the conclusion of the ceremony.
Chris Fendley, executive vice president, Mastercard, said: “Collaboration and innovation have never been more important for the travel sector, which is why we are thrilled to join Travolution Awards 2022 as headline sponsor.
“We look forward to celebrating the impactful technologies and creative thinking that will help to drive sustainable growth through 2023 and beyond.”
At the ceremony, which will take place on November 24 at the London Hilton Bankside, Mastercard, the event’s lead sponsor, will deliver the Travolution Achievement and Champions of Sustainability awards.
Lee Hayhurst, Travolution executive editor, said: “We’re extremely excited to have teamed up with such a huge global brand as Mastercard for this year’s awards.
“Our event is always such a great way to see the year out by celebrating the work of creative and ingenious brands and individuals in the travel industry with a diverse, young and driven guest list who are the future of our sector.
“Congratulations to all the entrants who made our shortlists this year. I wish you the best of luck and look forward to seeing you on November 24.”
