Mobile payment provider Fintech innovation and financial inclusion are very important to MoMo Payment Service Bank (PSB), according to that institution. It claimed that wherever it operates, it has always acted as a company that encourages inclusive economic growth.

Elsa Muzzolini, general manager commercial of MoMo PSB, gave a speech in Lagos at the introduction of comedian Anita Asuoha, well known as “Real Warri Pikin,” as the PSB’s first brand ambassador.

Muzzolini said: “The brand’s choice to work with Real Warri Pikin was effortless. This is simple because she represents principles that are in perfect alignment and are both designed to challenge the status quo with ideas and innovations. MoMo PSB places a lot of importance on fintech innovation and financial inclusion. We have always viewed ourselves as a business that promotes inclusive economic expansion wherever we are active. By working with a great act like Real Warri Pikin, we hope to promote discussion between the Fintech industry and its partners and customers. This alliance is very important for both parties. We are excited about this new collaboration, and have faith that Real Warri Pikin would give it her all, in her work with MoMo PSB.”

She claimed that the selection of the brand ambassador was in line with the company’s commitment to provide simple, inexpensive financial services to individuals, organizations, and enterprises at the local level throughout Nigeria. Asuoha is anticipated to further promote adoption of MoMo PSB in everyday financial transactions by leveraging her popularity among the nation’s unbanked and underbanked citizens.
